here come the rest;
Death amongst Life,
Peace amongst Death
Only heroes die young of honour,
Only sage’s die old in wisdom,
All others between,
Dare Fates wrath
The eagle soars for ever more,
Its wings spanning the world,
Eternally hunting the skies,
It’s care of its seed over life
Amongst the night,
The morning dawns,
The wives fear,
The morning sky gone red
The warriors fight,
Blood would scatter,
Politics at war,
Nations scattered
In life there is only death,
In death there is only peace,
A true hero fights for country,
For death and retribution
He who lives for others,
Shall die for another,
He who lives for himself,
Dies nameless
Time amongst life
Death amongst War
Through life,
Only time shall tell,
Who rises and who falls,
Who runs and who crawls
Where the eagle soars,
The falcons dive,
And lions prowl,
Such is life
Where the sword strikes,
The arrows whisper,
And skulls shatter,
Such is death
Where the mountains fall,
The lands sink,
And oceans dry,
Such is time
Where men fall,
The lands drowned
And heroes rise,
Such is war’s cry
Peace of the Night,
Love of the Day
Amongst the forest of heather,
Sounds of the wind,
Forever sighing of relief,
In natures heaven
The mountains call,
The bagpipes echo,
The feel of merriness,
Taking over the soul
The falcons cry,
Piercing clear blue skies,
A hunter’s call,
For peace forever more
The silence of night,
Lasting an eternity,
Forbearing sages,
Born forever more
Waters forever frozen,
Lochs forever glistening,
The air stopped,
Without beginning or end
In darkness of time,
All things end,
Through the sword and the wind,
All things begin
My Unchanging Lady
An aura of grace,
A Face of love,
A body of compassion,
Forever thoughtful
Words like wine,
A laugh of the glens,
A smile of the dawn,
I shall care forever more
Soft lips,
Hungry eyes,
Smooth tongued,
A soul of life
A feral grace,
A soul poised,
The motion swung,
This way to stay
A dice of fate,
Deals made and done,
But for all this alas,
There is now only one
From ancient heights,
Where the soul becomes free,
It is there you shall see,
The soul within thee
For Times Undone
For times unchanging,
Fate unyielding,
We shall rise,
The darkness shall pass,
Cast down the false apostle,
Its name struck from history,
Soon the others shall follow,
And the veil of ignorance shall be shook off
For in times of strife,
Heroes rise and heroes fall,
People will die and people will crawl,
But ideals shall live forever more
When death, comes,
It shall strike from shadows,
At any given time,
A scythe amongst the rye
Through darkness,
Through despair,
Heroes conquer nations,
Sages conquer belief
In peace there can be no love,
In war there can be no hate,
In time there can be no relief,
In death there can be no pain
A Nation of War
United through hate,
Unconquered and undivided,
It shall stalk the bloody fields again,
The roar of the lion rampant
Risen though banishment,
It never gave up hope,
Forever knowing,
That it’s people shall take it to war again
The voice of the many over the few,
Reversed through out patriotism,
Go against a nation’s belief,
You must give them back another
Now all that quietly lays in wait,
For the moment clans rise,
Were once again it shall roar,
And freedom shall be there’s
Its banner rose proud,
For all to see clear,
It’s voiceless cry heard by all,
Its enemies wail in fear
Blood shall fall,
Cities will burn,
And nations will run,
As the heart of Scotland returns
Truth of Love
In love there can only be curiosity,
In truth there can only be pain,
First come curiosity,
Then come life
Through love we can strive,
Through truth we can conquer,
Through curiosity we can understand,
Through pain comes all that we wish
In war there can be no hate,
In peace there can be no love,
In knowledge there can be no rest,
In all that we gain we can only want more
Through truth and love,
All doors lay open,
All paths are unbarred,
And forever shall they soar
The worlds based on lies,
There foundations rotted with doubt,
Only the strongest truths will stand,
And through it they shall be immortalised
No war is forged of hate,
No peace is forged of love,
One is forged from fear,
The other… of regret
Passions of chaos
From our cries in the night,
Where fears become real,
Our souls unbarred,
Our hearts unguarded
The darkness become,
To lie of love,
Shall prove its worth,
Of being the greatest burden
So forever you shall see,
Of what you’ve done,
And what you’ve missed,
Filled with eternal remorse
Passions is the key,
To the chaos within all,
Through which all lies unbarred,
And all truths are known,
So take not rejection,
For it shall not be given,
All that you fear,
Shall become undone
Unforgiving
Dishonour
A mark like no other,
Like coal on marble,
Forever burning the soul,
Knowing they won’t be forgiven
A heart gone cold,
A soul gone bitter,
A mind gone to war,
To relieve the darkest stain of all,
Ancestral honour,
Gone with the wind,
Forever hunting,
The eternal quest,
In the darkness it shall shine,
In the light it shall shield,
In fear it comforts,
In war it gives valour,
No longer shall they crave,
No longer shall they lust,
No longer shall they rage,
No longer shall they care
Oaths disclosed,
Deals undone,
Loves forgotten,
Honour as one
Unforgiving till all time,
Hung like an iron collar,
The dishonour forever known,
But never to become fallen
To rise from shackled chains,
Casting down all that be wished,
Discarding all of the cares,
Only the quest is left
One more soul,
One more nation,
For in the end we are all,
One nation, one soul,
Where the field beckons,
Where the measure of all lies,
Unyielding in their wrath,
Honour echoing through time
Keys to the
Chaos
In the darkness there lie four,
Answers to all the riddles,
First you must know,
To then understand them,
Hate beckons all who love,
The cold show no remorse,
Love shines through all shadows,
Pain shows itself to all that share it
In pain there is hate,
In hate comes bitterness,
Through which all remorse,
For another has fallen
Those who become cold-hearted,
Are seen by all whom dare their wrath,
For they are all encompassing,
Looking to be forgiven
Bitterness shares a bed with time,
And with each passing moon it shall grow,
Until there can be no more,
And it is from then we shall know
For shadowed pools to lay,
Where oceans dry,
There shall be the world,
Forever pale and grey
Forestalled
Shadows
Where chaos breeds,
A virus uncontrolled,
Only in time shall we see,
The damage it did to the world,
No longer does time tell,
No longer does Fate know,
Only fortune shines,
For death favours the bold,
Like oil in the soul,
Blood running cold,
Where love falls,
Then we see the toll,
Like a great pyre,
Their love burns away,
Showing the night,
Within the day,
Your fears unanswered,
You dreams undone,
But death goes on,
Scything deals done,
Where hallowed halls lay,
Evergreen mass,
Hiding our past,
And trackless the ground lies
Forgiven
But unforgotten
When burdens grow,
Beyond compassion,
Where words a switched,
Like knives
In the truth of caring,
One can always forgive,
But under all souls,
We cannot forget
Night of the day,
Love of hate,
One can only embrace both,
Like lepers and gods
Where shallows drown,
And oceans dry,
It is here you shall see,
The ignorance within life
Where once grace had kissed,
Death had raped,
Roaming grasslands forever more,
Where deserts roar
Forever damning,
Forever repenting,
Forever forgiving,
Forever unforgotten
Twilight
Dawns
Where suns kiss the ground,
Where moons dance with the stars,
It is where time sleeps,
And love dawns
When suns rise from the night,
When then moon dances into the light,
Where time begins,
And wars come forth,
Where life shines,
And love grows bold,
Where the sun lines the ground,
The time of twilight
We show awe at such sights,
Which never seem to end?
Yet when they do,
It was only there for a moment
Dusk and dawn,
Short yet long,
Where it shines out,
And tears fall down
Where souls go in flight
The gads denied their right
As blood begins to flow,
So the morning dawns
Love of Death,
Hate of Fear
Where the soul ends,
Another begins,
Where one love fails,
There is no more
When truth is shown,
And hopes are shared,
And faiths become done,
Then pain is to follow
Where peace begins,
Love ends,
When wars end,
Remorse is shown
When light burns,
We retreat to darkness,
When darkness enshrouds,
We burn with passion
Where love was shown,
And peace ensured,
Only pain has grown,
Here lies the path of the misbegotten
Fallow and full
In lines drawn bold,
Through which our blood flows,
Where life is seen first hand,
Where only the sun glows,
Where lands lie barren,
Yet full of life,
A paradox of time,
But not of mine
Where soft hands touch,
In darkness it shows,
That we thought so much,
To become the souls, love grows
Whence once the blade fell,
The poppy comes,
When we see hell,
We see buttons undone
Inside hallowed halls,
It is here that we see,
Remembrance of a warriors fall,
Where all souls walk with thee
Where we see all that lies fallow,
Where we set the tool,
Is only that, which is hallowed,
To become full
In life but death
In the pain of the night,
My heart cries,
For in peace of the day,
My eternal flight,
Where your hate shows,
And time grows,
My soul breaks,
And tears flow
As like comes,
Death goes,
My soul entombed,
Forever grows bold
Where your eyes look,
Flowers blossom,
And the light of stars shines,
And my loves roars
As the falcon soars,
So does my feelings,
Pain shines,
And crimes die
Where can it end?
As it never slows,
Where can it start?
As my loves stands out of time
Falcon’s tears
Where fear rained,
And pain roared,
Where cares die,
Stoically bored
Where pain calls,
And misery soars,
To end a lifetime,
This makes the heart grow more,
Defiance by love,
Uprising from pain,
As time shows,
Happiness makes the heart grow fond
To live again,
After so many years,
To defeat the curse,
Of the falcons tears
Fur Tysé Mánuí
To times of life,
From the lands of death,
Life in reverse,
The time of rest
Where pain is naught,
And peace is always,
Where love is gold,
And hate is gone
As waters glisten,
And hills lay vast,
As silence echoes,
And love shines down
When voices cry,
Like an angels song,
Such it is to be,
Where it belongs
Where the heart soars,
And eyes pierce the clouds,
Where debts are repaid,
And the world grows rich in happiness
For this is life,
For this is love,
For this is peace,
For this is repaying fate
Grassland and Moors
Where the sunshine flows,
Over roving grasslands,
Across heather covered moors,
Where time stops,
Standing amongst the trees,
A broad horned stag stood guard,
Its stance forever proud,
Its eyes challenging all who dare
Roaming mountains call,
Snow tops glistening bright,
Bagpipes echoing the valleys,
Making merry the souls
The eagle soaring high,
Its cry piercing shadows,
Its eyes burning bright,
Lighting the depths of the soul
Across the fields eternal,
A sea of golden light,
Watched over by clear skies,
Where ones soul walks alone
Over the hills and far away,
Where we still the beauty of nature,
Where love shines in every leaf,
And winters bite is still comforting
Where every moment is a blessing,
And every day a miracle,
From dusk till dawn,
The sun shines bright with love
Over and Under
Lightning cracks,
Thunder roars,
Time stands still,
For love is born
Pain like a dying breath,
Longing within solitude,
Awe in light of life,
Forever my heart burns
As my heart cries,
And tears flow far,
Its voice heard by all,
As the pain roars,
One kiss,
One hug,
One night,
One love
One nation, One Soul
Over the hills and far away,
Across the seas and long gone,
How can I stand to this?
One land amongst the world
Through time and space,
But my heart beats still,
Distances gone vast,
Yours forever until
No matter the time,
No matter the distance,
No matter the pain,
The love shines bright
No distance is too vast,
No time is to long,
For in the end,
Were all one nation, one soul
Accused and betrayed
Where Love goes blind,
The heart to mind,
We see what we can’t,
Gone to return,
No matter where,
No matter how,
The truth lies hidden,
Screaming to be found
Every breath of pain,
Every beat of despair,
Brings us closer still,
Knowing the end is wrong
But closer still I see,
The truth behind me,
My life lay bare,
After which you’d done,
Accused and betrayed
Times Undone
Where time flows,
Waters glare,
As time shows,
Mountains see
Where eagles soar,
Clouded mountains whisper,
The ground sliding past,
Its cry piercing the soul,
A lone wolf standing,
Its jaws distended,
Swallowing the night,
Its lamentation bare for all to hear
The lands drenched in time,

Such makes the soul take flight

Death amongst Life,
-its is nice to see you contributing to this section.
a poem with an advice hidden between verses is unique. That is what this
one does.Nice approach. Again like pete you might want to delete the "'" after
each line since its unnecessary if you are doing a free verse.
Have the last lines in the first few stanzas be shorter and with fewer syllables for more impact.
Peace of the Night,
Love of the Day
-you managed to paint a lovely picture in my head with this one.
Try not to use the same words in each line on a stanza unless you are prepared to do that style
through all the stanzas in the entire poem
My Unchanging Lady
-I enjoyed this one alot. Nothing in it that I can see that needs improving aside from not using a
a "'" after every line
i liked this line
"Forever thoughtful
Words like wine, "
I will go and post the rest of my comments on your other works including the one posted on this reply page
Keep contributing, for all of your pieces are appreciated
