My only criticism is, if I am correct in believing that he is English/Maltese, that there are a few words that are American English rather than English English eg trash can, but as far as the story is going, well bring it on, it's brilliant!

I know...I know...

I've been living in the US too long. I've picked up their lexicon!!!

Well no, there's no need to be embarrassed by it, I know how it is I pick up accents really easy if I spend a lot of time talking to someone with a pronounced accent, I just thought I would mention it as it does lead (well for me) to a little confusion - probably me just being picky really. With or without the Amecianisms it is excellent.

May be a book of short stories, hmmm?

Kind of thinking along those lines atm.

Maybe if I can get some interest in these, I'll have the impetus to work on my novel.

So, yes a book of short stories sounds good to me.

I like both of the ones you have put on here, but I think I like this second one more, even though nothing has really happened yet. It has really grabbed my interest (I am still contemplating what the secret, pulsating purchase could be ).

I see you have added another part to it; I don't have time to read it now (got to get ready for work, I'm afraid), but I will read it later when I get home, hmmm, yes, don't suppose I am really going to have time to sneak a read at work today, so think it will have to wait until tonight But looking forward to it very much
